Choose what you are notified about
The daily summary, reminders and the wellbeing check-in — and how to turn any of them down.
Where to find it
More → Settings
Equal House sends few notifications by design, and each can be turned off.
The daily summary
One message a day with what is coming up. More → Settings → Daily summary, and set the time.
For most households this is the useful one: a single prompt in the morning beats nine reminders through the day.
Reminders
Per event and per task, with a household default. See reminders.
The wellbeing check-in
An occasional, gentle prompt asking how you are doing. More → Settings → Wellbeing check-in, with its own send time, and it can be switched off entirely.
Things that notify because they involve other people
A few things tell you because somebody else did something and you would want to know:
- A task assigned to you being completed
- A device being set up for kids
- Something waiting in Assistant suggestions
- A Safe Space message
Turning everything off
Your phone’s own settings for Equal House will silence all of it, if that is what you want.
