The documents a household needs are usually in a drawer one person knows about.

- Add a document, photograph or upload it, and give it a name.
- Set an expiry date if it has one.
Expiry warnings
Passports, insurance, MOTs and visas all expire on a date nobody is watching. Equal House warns you in advance, which is the difference between a renewal and an emergency.
Who can see them
Adults in your household. Children never see documents — they do not appear in Kid Mode.
What to put in
Anything both adults might need and only one currently knows the location of: passport numbers, policy documents, the boiler’s service record, the tenancy agreement.
Use your judgement on the most sensitive things. This is convenient shared storage, not a password manager.
