Sign in on your computer
Use Equal House in a web browser at app.equal.house, signed in with the same account as your phone, so it's the same household and the same plan.
Where to find it
In a web browser, at app.equal.house
Equal House runs on a computer as well as on your phone: in a web browser, at app.equal.house. There is nothing to install.
- On your computer, go to app.equal.house in Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox.
- Click Log in or sign up. The Equal House sign-in page opens.
- Sign in the same way you do on your phone: with Google, with Apple, or with your email address and password.
You land in your own household, with everything the phones see: the same tasks, calendar, meals and people. Something added on the computer is on the phones straight away, and the other way round.
It is the same account
There is no separate desktop account. If you sign in with a different email address from the one on your phone, you get a different account, and it asks you to set up a family. Sign out and sign in again with the one you use on your phone.
A grown-up who has not joined your household yet should accept their invitation first, on a phone or on the computer: see invite another adult.
Staying signed in
A reload keeps you signed in. On a shared computer, sign out when you are done: More → Your Account → Log out.
Children
Children don’t sign in on a computer. The sign-in page has no I’m a kid button there, because Kid Zone is a phone and tablet thing. See how children sign in.
On a phone or tablet
If you open app.equal.house on a phone or tablet, it sends you to the Equal House app instead (or to the App Store or Google Play if you haven’t got it), because on a phone the app is the better version. A small window on a computer is not mistaken for a phone: it stays.
What else is different on a computer is in using Equal House on your computer.
