Sticky Hoisin Pork Mince Lettuce Cups

Ingredients

  • 500 g pork mince
  • 3 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 clove garlic cloves
  • 15 g fresh ginger
  • 2 little gem lettuces
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 3 spring onions

Method

    Finely grate the ginger and garlic. Finely slice the spring onions. Separate the lettuce leaves into cups.

    Heat a large frying pan or wok over a high heat. Add the pork mince and break it up with a spoon, frying for 5-6 minutes until golden and cooked through.

    Add the garlic and ginger and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

    Stir in the hoisin sauce and soy sauce, tossing to coat the mince. Cook for 2 minutes until sticky.

    Remove from the heat and drizzle over the sesame oil.

    Spoon the pork into the lettuce cups and top with sliced spring onions before serving.
