Beef and Black Bean Noodle Stir-Fry
Ingredients
- 300 g medium egg noodles
- 400 g beef sirloin steak, thinly sliced
- 4 tbsp black bean sauce
- 1 green pepper
- 1 onion
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp cornflour

Method

Cook the egg noodles per pack instructions, drain and toss with a little oil to prevent sticking.

Toss the sliced beef in the cornflour to lightly coat.

Heat the oil in a wok until very hot. Sear the beef in a single layer for 1–2 minutes, then remove.

Add the sliced onion, pepper and crushed garlic to the wok, stir-fry for 3 minutes.

Return the beef, add the black bean sauce and soy sauce, toss together for 1 minute.

Add the noodles and toss everything together over a high heat for 1–2 minutes before serving.
