Reach Out is a private line to another grown-up in your household, with help outside the family on the same screen.
- More → Reach Out.
- Tap Reach out and choose who you want to talk to. Only the other grown-ups at home are offered: never a child, and never you. If there is no other grown-up at home yet, it says so, and points you to Help outside the family at the top of the screen.
- Write your message. The conversation stays on the screen, so you can come back to it.
Who sees it
Only the two of you. Nobody else in the household can read it, including the household’s owner.
Help outside the family
At the top of the screen, Help outside the family opens a list of free UK helplines you can call or text. It is there even if your conversations can’t load. See helplines.
If it is more urgent than this
If someone is in immediate danger, call 999.
