  • 500 g lamb mince
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 tsp ground allspice
  • 400 g chopped tomatoes
  • 20 g flat-leaf parsley, chopped

Method

    Brown the lamb mince in a large frying pan over a high heat, breaking it up well. Drain off excess fat and set the mince aside.

    In the same pan, fry the onion for 5 minutes until golden. Add the garlic, cinnamon, and allspice and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

    Return the lamb, add the chopped tomatoes, and season well. Simmer for 15 minutes until the sauce is rich and thick.

    Cook the tagliatelle in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and toss with a drizzle of olive oil.

    Serve the pasta topped with the lamb sauce and a generous scattering of fresh parsley.
