  • 500 g lamb mince
  • 200 g frozen peas
  • 1 onion
  • 400 g tinned chopped tomatoes
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 20 g fresh ginger
  • 2 tsp garam masala
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Method

    Finely dice the onion and fry in the oil over medium heat for 8 minutes until golden. Grate in the ginger and garlic and cook for 2 minutes.

    Add the lamb mince and break it up, frying until browned.

    Stir in the garam masala and cook for 1 minute, then add the chopped tomatoes. Season well.

    Simmer for 15 minutes, then add the frozen peas and cook for a further 5 minutes.

    Serve with basmati rice or warm naan bread.
