Method

  1. 1

Heat the oven to its highest setting (around 240C/220C fan, gas 9) with a baking tray inside to heat up.

  2. 2

Mix the lamb mince, onion, green pepper and ripe plum tomatoes, all finely chopped, with the tomato purée, pul biber and 1 tbsp of the olive oil in a bowl; season well.

  3. 3

Divide the pizza dough into 4 and roll each piece into a long oval, about the thickness of a thin pizza base.

  4. 4

Spread the lamb mixture over each oval, leaving a border, and fold the edges in slightly to make a boat shape.

  5. 5

Slide onto the hot tray and bake for 12-15 minutes until the base is crisp and the lamb is cooked through with no pink remaining.

  6. 6

Scatter with flat-leaf parsley and serve hot.
