  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 120 g mature Cheddar
  • 40 g butter

Method

    Preheat the oven to 200°C. Prick the potatoes, rub with oil and salt, and bake on the oven shelf for 50–55 minutes until crisp-skinned and tender.

    About 5 minutes before serving, tip the baked beans into a small saucepan. Stir in the smoked paprika and Worcestershire sauce and warm over a medium heat.

    Grate the Cheddar.

    Split the potatoes, press open, add butter, spoon over the smoky beans and scatter generously with Cheddar. Serve immediately.
