Garlic Butter Prawns with Crusty Bread

Ingredients

  • 500 g raw king prawns
  • 60 g unsalted butter
  • 4 clove garlic cloves
  • 20 g flat-leaf parsley
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 tsp chilli flakes
  • 1 crusty baguette

Method

    Peel and finely slice the garlic. Roughly chop the parsley. Cut the lemon into wedges.

    Melt the butter in a large frying pan over a high heat until foaming.

    Add the garlic and chilli flakes and fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.

    Tip in the prawns in a single layer and cook for 2 minutes each side until pink and curled.

    Remove from the heat, squeeze over half the lemon juice and scatter with parsley.

    Serve immediately with the baguette torn into chunks for dunking.
