- 400 g spaghetti
- 400 g tinned chopped tomatoes
- 1 onion
- 3 clove garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp tomato purée
- 1 tsp dried oregano

Finely dice the onion and crush the garlic. Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan over medium heat and soften the onion for 5 minutes.

Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute, then add the beef mince. Break it up with a wooden spoon and fry until browned all over.

Stir in the tomato purée and cook for 2 minutes, then add the chopped tomatoes and oregano. Season well with salt and pepper.
- 4
Reduce the heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has thickened.
- 5
Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti in a large pan of salted boiling water according to packet instructions. Drain and serve topped with the bolognese sauce.
