Beef Mince Doner-Style Pitta with Garlic Sauce
Ingredients
- 500 g beef mince
- 4 pitta breads
- 150 ml natural yoghurt
- 2 clove garlic cloves
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 iceberg lettuce
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
Method

Mix the beef mince with the ground coriander, smoked paprika and plenty of salt and pepper.

Shape the mince into a flat oval patty and fry in the oil over medium-high heat for 4–5 minutes per side until cooked through and well browned.

Remove the meat from the pan and slice thinly.

Mix the yoghurt with the crushed garlic and a pinch of salt to make a garlic sauce. Shred the lettuce.

Warm the pitta breads and stuff with shredded lettuce, the sliced meat and a generous drizzle of garlic sauce.
