Pick from a list of the jobs most households actually have, instead of staring at an empty screen trying to remember them.

The hardest part of setting up any household app is the blank screen. Starter chores skips it.
- Home → Add → Ready-made tasks.
- Tick the ones that apply to you.
- Assign them, or leave them unassigned for now.
Why it helps more than it looks
People asked to list their household’s chores from memory reliably list the visible ones — the washing-up, the hoovering — and forget the invisible ones that cause most of the resentment: booking appointments, replying to the school, keeping track of what has run out. Seeing them written down by somebody else is often the first time a household names them.
They are ordinary tasks afterwards
Nothing about a starter chore is special once it exists. Change the name, the difficulty, who it belongs to, whether it repeats. Delete the ones that turn out not to be yours.
