Set your currency
Choose the currency Equal House shows for pocket money, jars and household spending.

Equal House defaults to pounds. If your household counts in something else, change it once and every money figure in the app follows.

What changes
Everything that shows an amount: pocket money, money jars, household spending and subscriptions. Children see it too — a child’s screen shows the currency the grown-ups chose, not a default.
What does not change
No conversion happens. Equal House does not convert amounts you have already set — five pounds becomes five euros, not five-eighty. It is a display setting, so if you switch currency mid-stream, check any amounts you had already entered.
This is deliberate. Guessing an exchange rate on the day you happened to change a setting would quietly rewrite what you promised a child for emptying the dishwasher.
