You get each adult’s time grouped by category — childcare, cooking, admin, the school run, and so on.
What it is good for
Two things, mostly.
Settling the “you do nothing” argument, in either direction. A category view usually shows both people were right about themselves and wrong about the other: one is doing five hours of admin nobody counted, the other three hours of driving nobody counted.
Spotting the category nobody chose. Household work has a way of collecting on whoever noticed it first. Seeing eight hours of school admin sitting with one person is the sort of thing that changes a conversation.
Where the numbers come from
Completed tasks and calendar events, weighted the same way the Fairness Score weights them. It cannot see work that was never written down — which is worth remembering before concluding somebody does very little.
